Verified and reliable temperature sensors Dear customers, We would like to let you in on what happens to temperature sensors before they are packaged and shipped to you. After manufacturing, all temperature sensors are labelled with their own unique identification code and the entire batch is put into cycling chambers. In the chambers, the sensors undergo 7 to 10 temperature cycles from -10°C to 120°C depending on the sensor type. With this so-called burn-in (or ageing) process, we simulate the load on the sensor to detect any critical manufacturing defects.
